About Us

Late. Col. Isaac initiated Methodist Church in Mysore as an extension of IMC, Bangalore, until it became a separate conference. 4 to 5 families gathered to worship at Aptech, Saraswathipuram under the leadership of Rev. C.A. Benjamin. Worship was held in the evenings in the beginning. 

CMC owes its origin to the outreach ministry of Indiranagar Methodist Church in Bangalore whereby beginning on 14th Nov.1999,  a group of 35 believers began to meet every Sunday for Worship Service in English, led by Rev. C.A Benjamin,  Rev. Peter Francis, Rev. David Livingston, along with few other lay clergy. Later, Rev. James Sunder Raj was appointed as full time Pastor of Mysore Methodist Church.
